Fargau-Pratjau is a municipality in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein . The former manor house in Salzau, which served as a regional cultural center and is known for the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival , is located in the municipality.

The community of Fargau-Pratjau consists of eleven places Ernsthausen, Fargau, Friedrichsfelde, Hütten, Münstertal, Legbank, Louisenthal, Salzau, Neu-Sophienhof, Pratjau and Sophienhof.
history
The municipality was created on January 1, 1974 by amalgamating the municipalities of Fargau and Pratjau.
politics
Community representation
Of the eleven seats in the municipal council, the FWFP community of voters won six in the 2013 local elections and the BFP five. In the local elections in 2018, the BFP was able to win two more seats to a total of seven, while the FWFP only has four seats.
