Schlesen is a municipality in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein .
geography
Schlesen is located on the northeastern shore of Lake Dobersdorf, about 5 km east of Schönkirchen , about 10 km north of Preetz and about 7 km south of Schönberg (Holstein) on the state road 211 between Preetz and Schönberg.

The location of Schlesen includes the following streets: Bargkoppel, Dorfstraße, Klint, Lindenweg, Redder am See, Schwanort and Seebrook. Community representation
Of the nine seats in the municipal council won in the local elections on May 6, 2018 , the distribution of seats has not changed since the 2013 election. When a member who was elected to the municipal council via the SPD list changed to the CDU parliamentary group, the distribution of seats changed as follows: CDU - 5 seats, SPD 2 seats, AUWGS electoral community 2 seats. This change took place after a member of the municipal council voted against his own candidate for two candidates when electing the mayor.
