Gerd Lausen

Gerd Lausen (born August 16, 1928 in Kiel ; † November 30, 1993 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1973 to 1978 he was finance minister of Schleswig-Holstein and from 1979 to 1992 head of the Schleswig-Holstein state bank.

Life and work

After graduating from high school , Lausen studied law and political science at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel , which he completed in 1950 with the first state examination in law. After completing his legal clerkship , he passed the second state examination in law in 1955. He then initially worked as a lawyer assessor and from 1957 to 1961 managing director of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutsches Schleswig . In 1961 he joined the administration of the Flensburg district as an assessor .

From 1979 to 1992 Lausen was head of the Landesbank Schleswig-Holstein.

Gerd Lausen was married and had two children.

Lausen had been a member of the CDU since 1962 .

Lausen was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament from 1967 until his departure on December 31, 1978 . Here he was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group from 1970 to 1973 and chairman of the finance committee from 1971 to 1973 .

Gerd Lausen has always moved into the state parliament as a directly elected member of the Flensburg- Land constituency .

Public offices

Lausen was district administrator for the Flensburg-Land district from 1962 to 1973 .

On May 15, 1973 he was appointed finance minister in the state government of Schleswig-Holstein led by Prime Minister Gerhard Stoltenberg . Because of his appointment as head of the Schleswig-Holstein state bank, he left office on December 31, 1978.
