The Tallaksenvarden ( Norwegian ) is a 895  m high nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises in the northwestern part of the Lingetoppane in Fimbulheimen .

Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1969. It is named after Johan Edvard Tallaksen (1918–1944), a resistance fighter in the Norwegian Independent Company No. 1 against the German occupation of Norway in World War II , who died by suicide on November 29, 1944 in Gestapo custody in Akershus fortress .
