Taller Danrée y Silveira was a Uruguayan manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Montevideo company started producing automobiles in 1955. The brand name was R-Sport . Production ended in 1957. A source states that the number of vehicles produced is unknown. Other sources name 32 vehicles. Some vehicles still exist.

The only Model 4 CV was a sports car designed by Diego Danree Haure. The four-cylinder engine came from the Renault 4 CV and was imported from France along with the other mechanical components . It had 54.5 mm bore , 80 mm stroke , 746 cm³ displacement and 21  hp . The open body of the roadster had two doors. It was made of fiberglass . A tubular frame served as the basis.
