Tamami Yagi

Tamami Yagi ( Japanese 八 木 た ま み , Yagi Tamami ; born November 15, 1959 in Isesaki , Gunma Prefecture ) is a former Japanese high jumper .

In 1977 she finished seventh at the Athletics World Cup in Düsseldorf and won silver at the Pacific Conference Games .

She won further silver medals at the Asian Games in Bangkok in 1978 and at the 1979 Asian Athletics Championships .

From 1977 to 1979 she was Japanese champion three times in a row. She set her personal best of 1.90 m on October 19, 1978 in Matsumoto .
