Tamar Dongus (born May 11, 1994 in Boeblingen ) is a German soccer player . She is the twin sister of Fabienne Dongus .

Career

Tamar Dongus started playing soccer with her sister at SV ceilingpfronn in 1999 and moved to the youth department of VfL Sindelfingen in 2006 . With the B-Juniors in Sindelfingen she became German runner- up in 2011 after a final defeat against Turbine Potsdam . On August 15, 2010 she was used for the first time in the first team in the 2nd Bundesliga South in the 3-0 win against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . In 2011/12 she was promoted to the Bundesliga with Sindelfingen . In the top German division she made her debut on September 2, 2012 in the 1: 9 away defeat against Turbine Potsdam and was in the 2012/13 starting line-up in all 22 league games.

For the 2013/14 season, Tamar Dongus and her sister moved to Bundesliga promoted TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . On April 18, 2018, Dongus signed in the Italian Serie A , with newly promoted CF Florentia . On November 3, she scored her first goal for Florentia in a 2-1 away win at Atalanta Mozzanica.

National team

Dongus was on April 15, 2009 in the U-15 international match against the Netherlands for the first time for a junior selection of the German Football Association on the field. In July 2010 she took part with the U-16 juniors in the Nordic Cup , where the team reached second place after a final defeat against the USA. For the U-17 juniors , she played a total of five games between 2010 and 2011 and made her debut for the German U-19 selection in a friendly against Sweden on October 26, 2011 , where she immediately scored her first goal.
