Fabienne Dongus (born May 11, 1994 in Boeblingen ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with the Bundesliga club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . She is the twin sister of Tamar Dongus .
Career
societies
Fabienne Dongus started playing football at SV ceilingpfronn and in 2006 moved to the youth department of VfL Sindelfingen . With the B-Juniors in Sindelfingen she became German runner- up in 2011 after a final defeat against Turbine Potsdam . On August 15, 2010 she was used for the first time in the first team in the 2nd Bundesliga South in the 3-0 win against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . In 2011/12 she was promoted to the Bundesliga with Sindelfingen . In the top German league, she made her debut on September 2, 2012 in the 9-1 away defeat against Turbine Potsdam and scored her first Bundesliga goal on April 14, 2013 in a 3-1 win against SC 07 Bad Neuenahr . On January 2, 2014 she won the local championships in Weil im Schönbuch.
For the 2013/14 season, Fabienne Dongus and her sister moved to the new Bundesliga club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Dongus has been the team's deputy captain since the 2018/2019 season.
National team
Dongus took part in July 2010 with the German U-16 national team in the Nordic Cup , where the team reached second place after a final defeat against the USA. With the U-17 women , she qualified for the 2011 European Championship in Nyon . There she was used both in the semi-final against France, which was lost on penalties , and in the game for third place, which was won 8-2 against Iceland. On February 28, 2012, Dongus played for the first time for the U-19 national team and qualified with her in 2013 for the European Championship finals in Wales .
