Tamara Wyss
Tamara Wyss (* 29. April 1950 in Heidelberg , † thirtieth March 2016 in Berlin ) was a German documentary - director .
Life
Tamara Wyss received her training from 1970 to 1974 at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin , which she graduated with the film We are here because of the children . She then worked as a freelance documentary filmmaker as well as a camerawoman, photographer, editor and lecturer in Germany and Great Britain, where she lived from 1984 to 2000.
During a stay in Cape Verde from 1980 to 1982, she worked as a development worker in a media project. In the films In Search of Mr. Moses and The Chinese Shoes , she dealt with events from her own family that can be traced back to Moses Mendelssohn .
Tamara Wyss found her final resting place in the Trinity Cemetery I in front of the Hallesches Tor in Berlin.

Tamara Wyss is the daughter of Dieter Wyss , granddaughter of Fritz Max Weiss and Hedwig Weiss , and descendant of the banker Alexander Mendelssohn .
