Tamer Tıraşoğlu , in the German-speaking area Tamer Tirasoglu or Tamer Trasoglu , (* 1983 in Berlin ) is a Turkish- German actor .

Life

Tamer Tıraşoğlu was born in Germany, but lived abroad for many years, where he also studied. From 2005 to 2010 he studied acting at the Langhanke Acting Studio and Film Atelier in Berlin, from which he graduated with a diploma. From 2006 he played theater roles as part of his training. After studying acting, he had an engagement at the GRIPS Theater in Berlin in the 2009/10 season . With a reading from Faust II under the title Mephisto and the Seven Deadly Sins , he made guest appearances on various stages.

He had his first film role as an illegal worker in the episode film Shahada (2010) by director Burhan Qurbani , which took part in the competition at the Berlinale 2010 and was screened at numerous other festivals.

Subsequently, Tıraşoğlu mainly worked for television, which continues to be the focus of his professional activity as an actor. In Turkey he was first seen in the television series Ağır Roman Yeni Dünya (2012). In the series Acil Aşk Aranıyor (2015), a Turkish adaptation of Emergency Room , he played a leading role in the series as emergency doctor Berzan.

On German television, Tıraşoğlu is often cast as a gangster or criminal with different ethnic origins. After his participation in the cinema Tatort Tschiller: Off Duty (2016) and in Wolfgang Petersen's comedy Four Against the Bank (2016, as "Ex-Knacki" Rolfi, alongside Til Schweiger and Sven Martinek ), he was seen in several German crime series . He had u. a. Episode roles in Ein Fall für Zwei (2016, as cardsharps Rasco Kaltegger), Notruf Hafenkante (2016, where he played Djamir Chihab, a brutal member of a criminal Lebanese clan), Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei (2017, as a Portuguese brothel owner and Drug boss Joaquin Almeida) and Bad Cop - criminally good (2017; as a neighborhood gangster "Magic Maik").

In October 2017 he was seen in the 4th season of the ZDF series Bettys Diagnose in an episode role as boxer Cem at the side of Marko Dyrlich and Paul Faßnacht . In the 17th season of the ZDF series SOKO Cologne (first broadcast from September 2018) he had a supporting role in the episode as security entrepreneur Gürsel Üzal; he played the bodyguard of the murder victim.

Tıraşoğlu, who u. a. Mastered and operates martial arts , mixed martial arts , boxing , kickboxing and Thai boxing , lives in Berlin.
