Tamorley Thomas (born July 28, 1983 in Saint John’s , Antigua and Barbuda ) is an Antiguan soccer player who played for the national team of Antigua and Barbuda for 16 years . In the club he is currently active at Greenbay Hoppers FC .
Club career
Tamorley Thomas started his career in 2002 with Hoppers FC from Green Bay . The midfielder played for the Premier League club for a total of nine years. During this time he took part with the club twice ( 2005 and 2006 ) in the Caribbean Club Championship , with the best result in the round of 16 in 2005, after losing to Portmore United from Jamaica . In April 2011 Thomas signed a contract with the newly founded club Antigua Barracuda FC, which was the first professional football club from Antigua and Barbuda to participate in the USL Professional Division . His debut came a week after the commitment against the Los Angeles Blues , with Thomas being able to score the first official goal in club history in a 2-1 defeat. Since 2013 he has been playing again for Greenbay Hoppers FC , with whom he has won the national championship twice (2016, 2018) .
National team
Tamorley Thomas made his debut for the Antigua and Barbuda national team in qualifying for the 2002 CONCACAF Gold Cup against Haiti .
