Tan Gaik Bee (* around 1935 ) is a former badminton player from Malaysia .

Career

In 1957 Tan Gaik Bee won her first two titles at the Malaysian Open , where she was successful in both singles and doubles . She subsequently won the double ranking seven times in a row. In addition to 1957, she was also successful in singles from 1961 to 1963. In 1962, she won all three possible titles at the French Open . In 1966 she won bronze at the Asian Games in mixed with Eddy Choong .

Tan Gaik Bee can also adorn herself with the title "Indian Master" because she won the national title fights there in mixed and doubles. At that time, these championships were still "open", meaning that athletes from other countries were also allowed to take part in the Indian Championships.
