Taner Ari (born May 29, 1987 in Erzincan ) is an Austrian - Turkish football player .

Ari began his career at the age of nine with FC Blau-Weiß Linz in Upper Austria. At 16 he made his debut on the combat team. In 2005 he made the move to Spain at the fourth division UD Norte. A year later he moved to the UD Fuerteventura club in the 3rd division. In 2007 he went back to Austria and completed a trial session with the then Red Zac Erste Liga club SC Schwanenstadt , which signed him shortly afterwards.

From 2008 to 2010 he was under contract with the newly founded first division soccer club SC Magna Wiener Neustadt with the number 12 and was there 22 times until December 31, 2009, and scored one goal. His debut in the top Austrian division was Ari on July 26, 2009 against SK Sturm Graz . The game was lost 3-0, Ari played through. He scored his first goal on October 31, 2009 against FK Austria Wien . Ari scored 3: 1 in the 4: 3 success of the Stronach club .

In January 2010, Ari moved to the Turkish second division club Orduspor . There it was only used five times. TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor took him on in January 2011 . Of his four appearances, he played three times from the start and once he was substituted on. After six months at TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor, Ari was without a club. In January 2012 he moved to the Turkish third division club Ünyespor . There he was in the squad 17 times. He played 14 times from the start and was substituted on 3 times. In the Turkish Cup 2011/12 he was once in the squad and played from the start. Ünyespor gave Ari in August 2012 to the second division club Denizlispor free of charge. He was not used there and decided two months later to finally leave Denizlispor and do his basic military service in Austria. He was stationed with the armed forces in Mautern . Since January 2013 Ari has been playing for the reserve team at SKN St. Pölten . There he received a contract until summer 2013 including an option for two more seasons, as well as a prospect of a place in the professional squad. After an interlude without a club, he had a short guest appearance (without minutes) in the Slovak league at DAC Dunajská Streda . Taner Ari then returned to Turkey, played in the third division with Sivas Belediyespor , and from 2014 in the fourth Turkish division first with Batman Petrolspor , then one season with Kastamonuspor in 1966 , until he finally returned to fourth division Batman Petrolspor in 2016.
