action
In 1931, the Carters fell victim to a mysterious bloodbath on their remote farm, caused by sinister, dark forces. A good 60 years later, their only surviving descendant, their grandson Cory, after the sudden and strange suicide of his father, goes to his birth house, which was once the scene of that ritual evocation of Satan . Since the unexpected death of his father, the young man has been plagued by nightmares that make him restless. In this situation he finally tries to decipher the dark secret of his ancestors. He is supported by his girlfriend Elaine and a couple of mutual friends who accompany him.
An old gas station tenant warns the group to visit the remote country house beforehand, as it is inhabited by the dead, but the eight twenties ignore all warnings and drive to the house of Cory's deceased grandparents unimpressed. As soon as we get there, eerie events happen, and Corys is increasingly haunted by visions and daydreams. The mood among the friends suddenly changes when they discover a scribbled saying on a wall in the abandoned and dilapidated house that says that Satan resides here. In a panic, they try to escape from the place immediately, but due to a strange fog this is not possible. Therefore one decides to stay overnight in the house without realizing that it will soon be a death trap for the group. Previously, while reading his grandmother's diary, Cory, unsuspectingly, conjured up the son of Satan, Delos , who sent bloodthirsty spirits to meet young people.
At night they are attacked and harassed by a host of demons . The creatures, presumably former villagers, manage to gradually decimate the horrified group of visitors until almost all of the young people except Corey and Elaine have to die. At the end of the film, Cory not only fights against his friends who have become demons, but also the real son of Satan. In a final final battle and the brief magical transformation into a demon, he succeeds in effectively eliminating Satan's son and most of the demons and thus putting an end to the ghost.
Reviews
“Wild horror spectacle in the style of the splatter wave in the mid-eighties, which not only in its name but also in its very similar storyline is reminiscent of the cult classic“ Dance of the Devils ”, which has since been confiscated . The thin story is not very ambitious, but all the more straightforward towards the conflict with the demons, which is drastically implemented with cheap, but sometimes effective special effects. So nothing for people who like to shudder a little, but rather for fans of hard-nosed food, who will help this film to be just as tangibly successful. "
"In the style of the" Splatter Movies "staged horror film with repulsive disgusting effects."
