The dance floor is 1443  m above sea level. M. high mountain south of the town of Ebnat-Kappel in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen . From here there is a panoramic view of, among other things, Lake Zurich , Untertoggenburg, Alpstein and Speer (to the west and then clockwise). Just below the summit is the Tanzbodenalp with a restaurant.
