Tapper is an arcade game distributed by Bally Midway in 1983 . The player has to tap beer virtually . The game was very successful in the golden era of arcade games .

description

As a waiter, the player has to fill beer mugs. Thirsty customers appear at 4 counters that are horizontally one above the other. These come closer and closer, like on a treadmill, and must be operated quickly. The player has to throw the full pitchers over the counters. Empty glasses and tips must also be collected. These must not fall on the floor.

Between some levels there are bonus rounds in which the player must recognize a can not shaken at a counter.

particularities

The arcade version has a real tap. Originally burps were digitized for the game's sound effects. However, these were never used in the published game.

Versions

The game was developed by Marvin Glass and Associates . The two arcade versions use different arcade systems. Budweiser and Suntory are American and Japanese beer brands, respectively.
