Taras Yashchenko

Taras Yashchenko ( Ukrainian Тарас Ященко ; born January 7, 1964 in Kiev ; † March 17, 2017 in Munich ) was a Ukrainian pianist and composer .

Life

Taras Jaschtschenko completed his first studies at the Reinhold Gliere Conservatory in Kiev from 1978 to 1982 ; 1982 to 1989 followed studies in the subjects composition and piano; 1991 to 1993 he completed the master class for composition and 1993 to 1995 master class for composition at the University of Music in Munich . From 1989 to 1991 Jaschtschenko was a teacher at the Tchaikovsky Academy in Kiev for music theory , counterpoint , musical form analysis and harmony ; 1996 music editor at the Ukrainian State Radio in Kiev. From 1996 Yaschtschenko appeared in Germany (Munich), Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine, France and Austria. In 1999 he was given a teaching position at the University of Music and Theater in Munich.
