Tarik Rose
Tarik Rose (* 1971 in Kiel ) is a German chef and TV chef .
life and career
Rose was born in Kiel, the state capital of Schleswig-Holstein , where he grew up. As a child, he worked as a pizza maker and dishwasher to earn extra money. His passion for cooking was aroused while cooking with his grandfather. He completed his training as a cook in the faience in Kiel. Since 2004 he has been the head chef of the Engel restaurant in Hamburg , which at that time belonged to Christian Rach . In 2016 he became the owner of the restaurant. The Engel kitchen is characterized by meat dishes and home cooking and has many influences from French cuisine.
Today he cooks alternately with Heinz Otto Wehmann on NDR in the program Mein Afternoon . Together with Chakall and Frank Buchholz , he was seen for 2 seasons between 2013 and 2015 in the Beef Buddies program on ZDFneo .
Rose has been a juror in the ZDF program Die Küchenschlacht since June 2017 .
