The Tarou River is a river on the west coast of Dominica in the Parish Saint Paul .
geography
The Tarou River has its source at Mount Joy ( Desjardin ). It is the famous brook of several small brooks on the slope of this foothill on the coast and is wedged between the catchment area of the Belfast River and the Layou River . It runs to the southwest and flows into the Caribbean Sea after about 2 km in Tarou (Tarreau) .
