Baptismal font (Saulcet)

The baptismal font in the church of St-Julien in Saulcet , a French parish in the Allier department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region , was created in the 14th century. The baptismal font of stone is as since 1904 Monument historique classified.

The basin is integrated into a wall and is closed by a wooden wall with a door. In front of it is a round stone piscina , the base of which is fluted.
