Saulcet is located about 28 kilometers south-southwest of Moulins . Saulcet is surrounded by the neighboring communities Verneuil-en-Bourbonnais in the north and north-west, Contigny in the north-east, Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule in the south and east, Louchy-Montfand in the south and south-west and Bransat in the west.
