Couzon is a French commune with 299 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Allier département in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Moulins and the canton of Bourbon-l'Archambault .

geography

The parish is about 20 kilometers northwest of Moulins and 40 kilometers south of Nevers . Neighboring municipalities of Couzon are Saint-Léopardin-d'Augy in the north, Aubigny in the northeast, Agonges in the southeast and Franchesse in the west.

The place is located in the very north of the municipality. All flowing waters are collected by the river Burge , which forms the eastern and northeastern municipal boundary and finally flows into the Allier .
