geography
With 32.99 square kilometers, Saint-Pourçain-sur-Besbre is one of the larger municipalities in the Auvergne. It is located at about 250 m asl in the valley of the Besbre , about 25 kilometers southeast of Moulins . It bears the name of Porcianus who proselytized in the Auvergne in the 4th century .
