The former parish church of Saint-André was a simple but three-aisled village church from the 11th or 12th century with a bell gable above the choir arch . In the 14th century, the walls of the church were plastered and painted with joint paintings and frescoes (including a ' Baptism of Christ '), remains of which have survived. During and after the French Revolution , the church was used as a barn - a gate was built into the north wall. Later the church building fell into disrepair; in the 1950s the south aisle collapsed; however, the building had already been recognized as a Monument historique in 1942 and was restored in the 1980s.
