geography

Couleuvre is about 34 kilometers west-northwest of Allier . The Auron rises in the municipality . Couleuvre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lurcy-Lévis in the north, Pouzy-Mésangy in the east and northeast, Saint-Plaisir in the south and southeast, Theneuille in the south, Cérilly in the southwest and Isle-et-Bardais in the west.
