Bressolles is a French commune of the department Allier with 1,113 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It is assigned to the canton of Souvigny (until 2015: canton of Moulins-Sud ) and the arrondissement of Moulins . The inhabitants are called Bressollois .

geography

Bressolles is located in the north of the Auvergne in the historical province of Bourbonnais about four kilometers south-southwest of the city center of Moulins on the banks of the Allier , which borders the municipality to the east. Bressolles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Neuvy in the north, Moulins in the northeast, Toulon-sur-Allier in the east and southeast, Chemilly in the south, Besson in the south and southwest, Souvigny in the west and Coulandon in the northwest.
