Gouise is a French municipality with 219 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Allier in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Moulins and the canton of Moulins-2 (until 2015 Neuilly-le-Réal ).

Gouise is located about 18 kilometers south-southeast of Moulins on the Luzeray River . Gouise is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Neuilly-le-Réal in the north, Saint-Voir in the east, Treteau in the southeast, Saint-Gérand-de-Vaux in the south and west and Bessay-sur-Allier in the northwest.
