Loriges is about 38 kilometers south of Moulins and 17 kilometers north-northwest of Vichy . Loriges is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule in the north and north-west, Paray-sous-Briailles in the north and east, Marcenat in the south-east, Saint-Didier-la-Forêt in the south and Bayet in the west.
