Saint-Didier-la-Forêt (until 1961: Saint-Didier-en-Rollat ) is a French municipality with 379 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Allier in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Administratively it is assigned to the canton of Vichy-1 (until March 2015: canton of Escurolles ) and the arrondissement of Vichy .

Saint-Didier-la-Forêt is located 12 kilometers north-north-west of Vichy in the Limagne bourbonnaise region on the Andelot . Saint-Didier-la-Forêt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Loriges in the north, Marcenat in the east, Saint-Rémy-en-Rollat in the south and south-east, Broût-Vernet in the west and south-west and Bayet in the north-west.
