Loddes is a French municipality with 164 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Allier in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Vichy and the canton of Dompierre-sur-Besbre (until 2015 Le Donjon ).
geography
Loddes is located about 39 kilometers east-northeast of Vichy on the edge of the Bourbonnais landscape . Loddes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Donjon in the north and north-east, Lenax in the east, Montaiguët-en-Forez in the south-east, Andelaroche in the south, Barrais-Bussolles in the west and south-west and Bert in the north-west.
