Avrilly is a French municipality with 135 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Allier in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Vichy and the canton of Dompierre-sur-Besbre (until 2015 Le Donjon ).

geography

Avrilly is located about 45 kilometers east-northeast of Vichy on the edge of the Bourbonnais landscape and on the Loire . Avrilly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Luneau in the north, Vindecy in the east and northeast, Baugy in the southeast, Bourg-le-Comte in the south and Le Bouchaud in the west and southwest.
