Le Mayet-d'École is located in the Bourbonnais landscape about 19 kilometers west-northwest of Vichy . Le Mayet-d'École is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Germain-de-Salles in the north and north-west, Broût-Vernet in the north and north-east, Escurolles in the east and south-east, Saulzet in the south and Jenzat in the west.
