Laprugne is a French municipality with 317 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Allier in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (2015 Auvergne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Vichy and the canton of Lapalisse (until 2015: canton of Le Mayet-de-Montagne ). The inhabitants are called Prugnards .

geography

Laprugne is about 25 kilometers southeast of Vichy . The neighboring municipalities of Laprugne are La Chabanne in the north, Saint-Nicolas-des-Biefs in the east and northeast, Arcon in the east, La Tuillière in the southeast, Saint-Priest-la-Prugne in the south, Lavoigne in the west and southwest and Ferrières-sur -Sichon to the west and northwest.
