The informant is a German crime television film from 2016. It is about a student who is undercover investigating drug dealers. Aylin Tezel played the leading role under the direction of Philipp Leinemann .

action

The young law student Aylin is sentenced to five years in prison by a German court. In order to avoid imprisonment and to finance her studies, she accepts the offer of the Stuttgart drug search to work as an undercover agent and spy on the drug dealer Musab. She is sworn to secrecy about her work with her relatives. After the covert investigation began, she soon had an affair with drug investigator Jan, who monitored her work with his colleague Hannah, but did not tell her that Musab had already committed a murder.

After Aylin has won Musab's trust, she violates the rules set up by Jan and Hannah several times and puts herself in danger. For example, she calls her sister and photographs a meeting between Musab and his business partner. Nevertheless, it provides the investigators with useful information. On their instructions, she installs a tracking device in Musab's cell phone. She learns from Musab that he murdered his cousin because he turned against him. Now she realizes that Jan kept the murder from her because Musab's cousin was also undercover for the drug search. Then she sabotaged the handover of a drug delivery to Musab's business partner Hofmann, which was observed by the police, and thus helped Musab to escape from the police, who arrested Hofmann and Aylin. Musab turns himself in to the police a little later, on condition that Aylin be released. In the end, she explains to Jan that she only had sex with him to secretly make a video of it.
