Molles is a French municipality with 898 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Allier in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vichy and is part of the canton of Lapalisse (until 2015: canton of Cusset-Sud ).
geography
Molles is about nine kilometers east-southeast of Vichy . Molles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Étienne-de-Vicq and Saint-Christophe in the north, Isserpent in the northeast, Nizerolles in the east, La Chapelle in the south, Busset in the southwest and Cusset in the west and northwest.
