Le Veurdre is a French municipality with 455 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Allier in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Moulins and the canton of Bourbon-l'Archambault (until 2015 Lurcy-Lévis ).

Le Veurdre is about thirty kilometers northwest of Moulins on the Allier . Le Veurdre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Château-sur-Allier in the north and north-west, Livry in the east and north-east, Saint-Léopardin-d'Augy in the south-east, Limoise in the south, Pouzy-Mésangy in the south and south-west and Neure in the west.
