Montord is a French municipality with 215 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Allier in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Moulins and the canton of Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule .
geography
Montord is about 38 kilometers south-southwest of Moulins and 25 kilometers northwest of Vichy . Montord is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Louchy-Montfand in the north, Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule in the east, Chareil-Cintrat in the south and Cesset in the west.
