Laféline is a French municipality with 197 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Allier in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the canton of Souvigny and the Arrondissement of Moulins .

geography

Laféline is located in the north of the Auvergne in the historic province of Bourbonnais , about 23 kilometers south-southwest of the city center of Moulins and about 28 kilometers north-northwest of Vichy . Laféline is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Treban in the north, Meillard in the northeast, Bransat in the east, Cesset in the southeast, Fleuriel in the south and Le Theil in the west.
