Saint-Voir is about nineteen kilometers south-southeast of Moulins . The municipality is crossed by the Luzeray River. Saint-Voir is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mercy in the north, Thionne in the east, Treteau in the south, Gouise in the west and Neuilly-le-Réal in the north-west.
