The Couzon is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the municipality of Noirétable , just on the border with the neighboring municipality of Vollore-Montagne , which also forms the border between the Loire and Puy-de-Dôme departments and the two regions. The river generally drains in a westerly direction through the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park and flows into the Dore as a right tributary after 22 kilometers in the municipality of Courpière .
