Baptismal font in Montluçon

The baptismal font in the church of St-Pierre in Montluçon , a French parish in the Allier department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region , was created in the 15th century. The baptismal font of stone is a 1924 monument historique classified.

The octagonal basin has pilasters as decoration on all corners . On the surfaces in between, tracery windows and rosettes are shown as bas-reliefs.
