The Taurou is a river in France that runs in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . It rises in the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park , in the municipality of Caussiniojouls and changes its name several times in the upper reaches (Ruisseau de Sainte Bauzille, Ruisseau de Balioux, Ruisseau des Lantillières, Ruisseau de la Vallongue). The river drains in a generally southerly direction through the Minervois landscape and flows into the Orb after 25 kilometers in the municipality of Thézan-lès-Béziers in a wetland as a left tributary .
