Taylor Parks

Taylor Monet Parks (born September 20, 1993 in Mesquite , Texas ), also known as Tayla Parx , is an American actress and songwriter .

Life

Parks initially played minor roles in films and local theaters. In 2007 she played Inez Stubbs in Hairspray as well as guest roles on Gilmore Girls and Everyone Hates Chris . She also appeared on True Jackson in the 19th episode of the first season Shelly and returned in the 12th episode of the second season.

She was also featured as a singer on the soundtrack for the musical film adaptation of Hairspray , and she began a musical career in the mid-2010s. While her own publications did not attract much attention, she was very successful as a songwriter for other performers. Among other things, she was involved as a writer on the number one hits Thank U, Next by Ariana Grande and High Hopes by Panic at the Disco and wrote for Jennifer Lopez , Alicia Keys , Meghan Trainor , BTS , Demi Lovato and Christina , among others Aguilera .
