Chinjenje (also Tchindjenje and Tchinjenje ) is a small town and a district in Angola .

Chinjenje is the seat of a district of the same name ( Município ) in the province of Huambo . The district covers an area of 800 km² and has around 9,000 inhabitants (2011 estimate). From now on, the 2014 census should provide reliable population data.
The district of Chinjenje consists of two municipalities (Comunas):
- Chinjenje
- Tchiaca (also Chiaca)
