Teases & Dares (German for example: "Tackle & Adventure" or read as a sentence: "Kim Wilde ... turns on and dares something") is the fourth studio album by British singer Kim Wilde . It was released on MCA Records in November 1984 .

Teases & Dares was the first album after switching labels to MCA after releasing the first three albums on RAK Records . It was produced by Kim Wilde - first mentioned as a producer - together with her brother Ricky and her father Marty . The latter two also wrote most of the songs, though Kim Wilde wrote Fit In and Shangri-La , and she was involved in the songwriting of Thought It Was Goodbye . She also recorded the keyboards for the first two titles mentioned.

The first single The Second Time was a top ten chart success in Germany and Switzerland , as was the album, which was best placed in Switzerland (tenth place) and Germany (22nd place). The second single The Touch reached middle positions (29th place in Germany, 20th place in Belgium ( Flanders )), the third single Rage to Love made it into the top 20 in Great Britain and 45th place in Germany.
