The Technetics Group  is one of six global divisions of  EnPro Industries , a manufacturer of technical industrial products for the process industry and general mechanical and plant engineering.

The Technetics Group is based in  Columbia , South Carolina , USA . The company manufactures bespoke industrial seals, components and subsystems for extreme applications in the following sectors:   aerospacenuclear energylife sciences , oil and gas, industrial turbines and  semiconductor technology. The Technetics Group is also active in many other areas, such as surface and coating technology, plastics processing, fluoropolymer etching, and the testing, design and analysis of seals. The Technetics Group has had around 900 employees since 2016 and has manufacturing facilities in Columbia (South Carolina) , DeLand (Florida), San Carlos (California), Houston (Texas), Daytona (Florida), Hatfield (Pennsylvania), Saint-Étienne ( France) , Montbrison (France), Singapore and  Leicester (England) .

Today the Technetics Group and the CEA jointly (employees and resources) run the maestral laboratory (written with a lowercase "m") in Pierrelatte, France. The team in the maestral laboratory researches and develops sealing products for use under extreme environmental conditions, in which, for example, high pressures, temperatures or complex mechanical loads prevail and which are characterized by the interaction of materials, liquids and aggressive bacteria. The employees in the maestral laboratory test and analyze sealing systems and simulate their use under these ambient conditions. The CEA Marcoule, based in the Rhone Valley, researches and develops in the areas of nuclear fuel cycle, waste management , dismantling and rehabilitation technology.
