Tegernbach is the name of the community that was formed on January 1, 1972 on the occasion of the Bavarian regional reform through the merger of the communities Wasentegernbach and Grüntegernbach . On May 1, 1978 it was added to the city of Dorfen . The districts of Endsberg and Stetten were assigned to the Schwindegg community ( Mühldorf district ). The administrative seat was in Grüntegernbach.
