Tehmina Sunny (born September 6, 1980 in London , England ) is a British actress .

Life

Tehmina Sunny was born the daughter of Indian immigrants in the London borough of Croydon. She received musical and artistic training in her youth and studied computer science and economics at the University of Leeds . After studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute , she made her debut in 2005 in the drama Love Struck . Just a year later, she starred alongside Clive Owen , Michael Caine and Julianne Moore in the science fiction film Children of Men . Since then she has appeared in isolated TV series such as Californication , Heroes and Navy CIS .
