Telerop 2009 - Es ist noch was zu retten is a German science fiction - television series . It was directed by Eberhard Itzenplitz or Michael Kehlmann and was broadcast in thirteen parts by ARD from July 10, 1974 .
The series paints a grim forecast for 2009. As a result of the environmental sins of the 1970s and 1980s, the natural environment has been largely destroyed. For example, the use of pesticides has destroyed the plants, only the insects have survived. Smog is a constant problem and the oxygen content of the air has dropped to 16%.
