The Tellimaähnliche Peltoboykinie ( Peltoboykinia tellimoides ) is a plant of the genus Peltoboykinia in the family Saxifragaceae (Saxifragaceae).

The Tellima-like Peltoboykinie is a perennial plant that reaches heights of 30 to 80 centimeters. The plant forms a rhizome . The leaves are shield-shaped and have long stalks. Most of the leaf margin segments are broader than long. The inflorescences are at the end of the 30 to 60 centimeter long stem . The 2 or 3 stem leaves are almost sessile. The calyx lobes are 4 to 5 millimeters long and upright. The 5 petals measure 1 to 1.2 × 0.5 centimeters, are serrated at the tip and colored light yellow. There are 10 stamens and 2 styles available.

Flowering time is from June to July.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 22.

Occurrence

The Tellima-like Peltoboykinie occurs in Japan on Honshū and in China in northern Fujian in mountain forests and shady gorges at altitudes of 1100 to 1900 meters.

The Tellima-like Peltoboykinie is rarely used as an ornamental plant for groups of trees.
